New staff at Footsteps To Recovery

Has recruited Alison Lynch and Jamie Bradbourne for Solas and Lynn Jones for Recovery Cymru.

Press release:

The new staff have already begun in earnest, comprehensive staff induction and been joined by existing staff members at training programmes over the next two months which we’re really excited by.

We have continued to meet with our referring partners (you guys!) which has been really productive and is informing the literature and guidance we are putting together. If you are a referral organisation and we have not met with you yet, please email us to set up a meeting. Alison.lynch@solas-cymru.org.uk

We have designed an leaflet encompassing the main aims objectives and commitment of the Footsteps to Recovery programme which is almost ready, is off to print, and will be circulated imminently.   We will soon be providing information packs with more information about all parts of the model, including eligibility and referral criteria.

Now the pilot phase has been completed we have increased capacity for ThruCareCafés. There are no restrictions on which week you can bring your clients. As usual please call ahead.

The feedback from our #Thrucarecafé events has been fantastic and we’re grateful to you all for engaging with the programme so enthusiastically and proactively!

We are delighted and encouraged to note and respond to a very important call for “more room!” as we continue to grow and so in order to use the Recovery Cymru Cardiff Centre exclusively to host #ThruCareCafé we are now running the Cardiff and Barry Café events simultaneously from 14:00-16:00

#ThruCareCafé sessions take place every Thursday afternoon between 2pm and 4pm at:

Recovery Cymru, 218 Cowbridge Road East, Canton, Cardiff, CF5 1GX
Recovery Cymru, 232 Holton Road, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, CF63 4HS

Please call us or email us to book to attend the cafe with any service user that may want to access Footsteps to Recovery or to discuss the service in more detail:
