Study of long-acting buprenorphine – rehabs have better outcomes

A new JAMA study opines that “long-acting buprenorphine depot formulations appear to be efficacious for treatment of opioid use disorder” – BUT 85.6% and 82.6% of subjects screened positive for opioids at least 3 times during the 10 testing points over weeks 9 to 24; they do not report if they screened for other drugs.
