Alcohol-related deaths among women highest in 10 years

Office for National Statistics showed 8 alcohol-related deaths per 100,000 women in 2017, as total death rate also rises, the Guardian reports, as the Independent cites UK alcohol deaths approaching levels last seen in 2008 recession, the Telegraph Baby boomers’ drinking blamed for pushing alcohol-related deaths among women to highest ever and Metro Alcohol is killing more women than ever.
