Drug deaths in Scotland “underestimated”

The number of Scots dying due to problematic drug use is substantially underestimated, because they only record overdoses, Dr Andrew McAuley of Glasgow Caledonian University and Dr Emily Tweed of University of Glasgow told Westminster’s Scottish Affairs Committee’s inquiry.
