Polysubstance use in young adults – are there predictable patterns?

Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health offer insights on the non-medical use of prescription drugs among young adults. Compared to other age groups, young adults in the US (aged 18-25 years) report the highest prevalence of non-medical use of prescription drugs in the past year (15%), binge drinking in the past month (37%) or illicit drug use in the past month (24%).
