Congress includes SUD funding in $3trillion Heroes Act

This week the US House of Representatives introduced the Heroes Act, its 4th response to the Covid-19 pandemic. This $3trillion proposal is due to pass the House today. It does not specifically include mental health and substance use disorder assistance, but does provide $100billion for all health care providers to offset lost revenue attributable to Covid-19. The bill also provides $75billion for testing and contact tracing.
