Vaping is not a safer alternative to smoking when it comes to Covid-19

E-cigarettes are a risk. First, smokers and users of e-cigarettes often touch their lips with their fingers, and can share e-cigarettes, which increase the risk of the Covid-19 virus passing into the body. Second, tobacco smoke destroys the lung cilia that in turn reduces the lungs’ ability to keep airways clear, and it can adversely impact on the body’s immune system.
