Alcohol-related deaths in Wales hit record high

The latest figures on substance misuse from Public Health Wales revealed that there were 562 fatalities recorded as alcohol-specific deaths in Wales in 2023. The new data has shown that alcohol-related deaths and hospital admissions also continue to rise.
