Half of student gamblers bet more than they can afford

Student gamblers lose about £32.25 each week, with 31% dipping into their savings to sustain their habit, according to the Annual Student Gambling Survey carried out by the Young Gamers and Gamblers Education Trust.  The habit is ‘entrenched in university culture’.
