France to toughen war on drugs

France’s lower house, the National Assembly, is this week debating a bipartisan, government-backed proposal aimed at “ending the drug dealing trap”. Ministers are looking to crack down on drug dealing networks and are pushing back against calls for legalisation, Politico reported.
