The Department for Work and Pensions published its findings on Peer Mentoring for people with a substance dependency. The programme was tested in selected Jobcentre Plus sites in England and Wales and delivered through 4 providers. Only 58% of those referred started the programme. Of these 32% (19% of all referred) completed the programme in timescale, 41% disengaged.
