Scotland: public health alerts

Public Health Scotland published 2 public health alerts in response to increased harm and changes in the drug supply.  The medetomidine alert highlights the emergence of this new sedative, most commonly detected in drugs sold as heroin and benzodiazepines.  The  new benzodiazepines alert  highlights ongoing changes to the street benzo market.
