Addiction treatment required, to receive benefits

Workers in British Columbia are being sent to mandatory treatment programs run by private companies in order to receive disability benefits. Some lucky ones are sent to (paid for) 12-step abstinence programs, although workers can request an alternative course of treatment. This article chooses to look at the life-saving option negatively.
