Drug overdose deaths: fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, heroin

The CDC’s National Vital Statistics System published a report on drug overdose deaths 2021, showing that synthetic opioid fentanyl deaths soared 279% in 5 years. Among the young, fentanyl and methamphetamine were the most lethal.
