Reducing alcohol use through policies

Canada’s Centre for Addiction and Mental Health estimated the effects of alcohol taxation, minimum unit pricing and time availability on over alcohol consumption – and found that, while results were generally positive, they were inconclusive for other socioeconomic indicators, gender, and racial and ethnic groups.
