Youth and “tobacco-free” nicotine

Over 2million high school students use e-cigarettes/vape. Manufacturers have started to advertise and sell e-cigarettes with synthetic nicotine – but University of North Carolina found there is little awareness of synthetic nicotine or what the industry refers to as “tobacco-free” nicotine, or even that nicotine in e-cigarettes is often derived from tobacco plants.
