69,000 Egyptians called national addiction treatment hotline

Since its launch in early 2023, about 69,000 Egyptians have used the free National Addiction Treatment hotline. It offers advice, treatment, follow-up calls, rehabilitation, and community integration, and is linked to 28 treatment centres, all affiliated with the Ministry of Social Solidarity’s National Fund for Drug Control and Treatment of Addiction.
