White House meets with drug firms on cost of overdose-reversal drugs

White House officials met with representatives from 10 pharmaceutical companies yesterday to address long-standing concerns about the affordability of overdose-reversal drugs. With the US drug crisis killing more than 100,000 people annually, the naloxone market changed in March, when the FDA approved Narcan for sale without a prescription
