Crystal meth use is on the rise in Manchester and, since the coronavirus pandemic, its price has dropped to £40-£60 a gram, down from about £100-£120 a few years ago. The deadly drug – known as ‘Tina’ or ‘T’ – has largely replaced mephedrone as a drug of choice in Manchester’s gay chemsex scene, reports Manchester Evening News.
