Leveraging nurses to address addiction

In the US today, the addiction healthcare workforce is disjointed and specialized, Duke University researchers stated. A reimagined workforce should leverage the 4.2million nurses working in the US, who represent the largest untapped resource to care for people with substance use disorders.
