CDC awards $279million to prevent drug overdoses

Yesterday, on International Overdose Awareness Day, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention awarded $279million to 49 states, the District of Columbia and 40 local health departments to help stop overdoses in their communities. The resources come from 2 new Overdose Data to Action funding opportunities.
