Australia: 990 people arrested in drug raids

During Australia’s week-long Operation Vitreus, police seized drugs with a street value estimated at $475million: 814kg of methamphetamine, 182kg of MDMA, thousands of plants from hydroponic crops and 185kg of cannabis. 990 people were arrested on 2,052 drug-related charges.
