Online gamblers seeking support for problems related to slot machines almost doubled in the past 5 years. Of those who disclosed difficulties with online gambling on GamCare’s National Gambling Helpline last year, 60% cited online slots as a struggle, and 73% of 5,660 callers last year said they struggled with online gambling.
