Government responds to ACMD on NHS England electronic prescribing proposal

The government accepted ACMD’s recommendation that electronic prescribing of Schedule 2+3 Controlled Drugs in secondary care and the Health & Justice System should be allowed, and that NHS England should evaluate the impact of the proposed changes to the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001 to allow such electronic prescribing.
