Cannabis risk for ED visits tops all other substances

At the top, above alcohol and every other drug, cannabis was the highest-risk substance, particularly in young men, for hospital emergency department visits for substance use with and without psychosis – being at 163 and 9.8 times the risk of developing schizophrenia vs the general population, a wealth of Canadian research organisations found.
