A public health first approach to alcohol?

London South Bank University, King’s College London et al called for support to prioritize a “public health first” approach to advancing alcohol use disorder research, policy and treatment. It offered some contentious recommendations to shift public understanding and scientific limitations in AUD concepts and responses.
