What Ireland can learn from Oregon voters’ U-turn on drugs

Last month, the Citizens’ Assembly published a list of 36 recommendations on drug use – one being the legalisation of drugs for personal use. But before enacting such legislation, politicians would do well to learn from the downfall of legalisation in Oregon and voters attempts to overturn Measure 110, RIPT cautioned.
