Spike in hospital admissions linked to GHB

Australia’s Gold Coast emergency departments are reporting up to 9 patients a day presenting with side effects relating to the use of illegal party drug GHB. Patients are experiencing severe side effects such as increased respiratory complications with some requiring ventilation.
