Women earning €35,000+ pa are most at risk for babies with FASD

“The people most at risk of having a child with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder are professional women who earn over €35,000 pa because they have enough disposable income to have alcohol in the house. After that are 3rd-level students and lower socio-economic groups,” the Irish Medical Organisation was told.
