Rugby league: drugs

A coroner asked rugby league’s governing body to change its drugs policy after a player’s death. The Rugby Football League’s drug policy states that teams “ensure that players can be offered appropriate treatment before misuse and/or addiction jeopardises their career” – but some can plead lack of resources.
