Cost of smoking in England: £21.8billion+

As the Tobacco and Vapes Bill Committee scrutinises policy, ASH published calculations by Landman Economics showing that the cost of smoking in England is up 25% to at least £21.8billion, including £1.9billion to the NHS, £1.2billion social care costs to local authorities and £18.3billion lost productivity.
