Australia: NSW Premier calls for alcohol ban in parliament

New South Wales premier Chris Minns said alcohol should be banned from parliament and MPs should reflect on whether it is appropriate to be drinking in the workplace. A parliamentary inquiry is considering a private member’s bill that calls for the removal of restrictions on drinking in public.
