Number of UK adults who vape hits record high

Experts demanded focus on harms of nicotine products as people who both smoke and vape doubled over the past 3 years, from 17% in 2021 to 32% in 2024 – the equivalent of 2.2 million people. The analysis by Action on Smoking and Health found 5.6million adults in the UK vape, about 11% of the adult population.
