Drug deaths, poisonings take a growing toll on US children

2% of all US children – over 1.4million – lost a family member to a drug overdose as of 2019, the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences and Pennsylvania State University revealed. University of Florida also found opioid poisoning in children rising alongside adult misuse.
