“Psychotherapists in England must be regulated”

Ministers face calls for urgent regulation of psychotherapists and counsellors, as lawyers report a rise in lawsuits by patients for alleged harm during therapy. Experts told the Guardian that few people realise a qualification is not needed, and that self-described therapists can continue to practise after misconduct.
