The American Heart Association issued a statement in response to yesterday’s release of the US Surgeon General’s report Eliminating Tobacco-Related Disease and Death: Addressing Disparities. The 1st of its kind since 1998, it covers the impact on Black, LGBTQ+ and other populations.
