1 in 5 people treated for addiction have ADHD symptoms

1 in 5 people being treated for drug and alcohol addiction have symptoms of ADHD, Ireland’s Citywide Drugs Crisis Campaign research uncovered. This rate increases to over 1/3rd in people using benzodiazepines. The report also shows that the highest rates of ADHD were in women.
