Drugs at university: wastewater analysis

Using wastewater analysis, Spain’s Universitat de València found that O-desmethylvenlafaxine, venlafaxine and escitalopram had the highest detection frequency with high consumption and cocaine is the most frequently detected illicit drug but its use is lower than in the city area.
