“Shocking” number of Scots kids need addiction help

Hundreds of schoolchildren need specialist help in class due to addiction and substance abuse. New statistics show the number has more than tripled in the past decade, as 714 pupils in Scottish schools need extra support from teachers and staff due to “substance misuse”  up from 228 in 2014.
