Fatal drug overdoses among youth aged 15-24 in the US involving synthetic opioids alone, not mixed with other substances, soared 168% 2018-2022, NYU Grossman School of Medicine found – the 1st to identify which specific combinations of drugs drove such synthetic opioid-involved fatal overdoses.
