US appeals court rejects challenge to federal marijuana ban

 A US appeals court this week rejected arguments by Massachusetts cannabis businesses that the federal prohibition on marijuana was no longer constitutional. The Boston-based 1st US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that changes in how marijuana is regulated and sold did not mean the federal ban is no longer valid.
