60% of US adults are unaware or uncertain of the alcohol-cancer link

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center revealed that 39% of American adults are not aware of the connection between cancer and alcohol and 20% more are uncertain if they heard or read about the link. Also, of the 5,937 respondents, over 30% believe that cancer prevention is not possible.
