Pain in the Nation: drug and alcohol deaths

Trust for America Health released Pain in the Nation 2025, The Epidemics of Alcohol, Drug, and Suicide Deaths. Over 20o,000 Americans died due to alcohol, drug overdose and suicide in 2023, twice the rate of such deaths 20 years ago: 105,007 died from drug overdoses, 47,938 from alcohol-induced causes.
