Damning audit: NSW government fails to measure, reduce gambling harm

Australia’s New South Wales government has not set targets to reduce the harm caused by about 90,000 poker machines in the state and does not know if it is protecting people, according to the state’s auditor general. The report assesses government conduct from 2019 to mid-2024.
