Powerful sweetener in vapes marketed to teens

Yale University and Duke University found a super-sweet chemical in illegal flavored e-cigarettes that can make them more appealing to children. The sweetener, neotame, is up to 13,000 times sweeter than sugar. Neotame was found in all 11 vape products tested, even in those labeled as “zero nicotine”.
