Professor Owen Bowden-Jones, president of the Society for the Study of Addiction and chair of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, was awarded a CBE for his services to addiction rehabilitation and public service, recognised on the King’s Birthday Honours List 2025 which marks “extraordinary contributions and service”.
