Therapy patients ‘will continue to be sexually abused’ as regulation ruled out

Victims of sexual abuse by therapists have accused the government of failing to protect the public after the Department of Health said it will not regulate psychotherapy, The i Paper revealed. Health minister Karin Smyth rstated there are “no plans to extend statutory regulation to psychotherapy”.
