Grooming gangs increase addiction

Childhood abuse leads to a disproportionately high aftermath of addictive behaviours. The Sun highlighted the link in an article on London’s grooming gangs and the use of drugs to cope, which mayor Sadiq Khan publicly denied – despite the Met Police under his remit reviewing 9,000 grooming cases.
