Government response to prison drugs

Andy Slaughter MP, chair of the Justice Select Committee, said he is disappointed that of 29 recommendations from the JSC to tackle the drugs crisis in prisons, only 8 were accepted by government this month. Two recommendations in Tackling the Drugs Crisis in our Prisons were rejected outright, the remaining 19 only “partially” accepted.
