Meta accused of ignoring illegal gambling ads in the UK

Meta Platforms Inc, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, is under fire from the UK Gambling Commission for allegedly allowing illegal gambling ads to run on its platforms. Executive director Tim Miller dismissed Meta’s claim that it was unaware of the issue until notified, calling it false.
